Digital Marketing Specialist

About Us:

DocuPet Inc. is an innovative pet licensing firm servicing municipalities throughout North America. Our job is to ensure all pets in each city we operate in are licensed. When initially partnering with our firm, a city only licenses 8-12% of pets. 

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Specialist to educate all citizens in our serviced municipalities about their obligation to license their pets.

As the Digital Marketing Specialist at DocuPet you will:

  • Adhere to brand standards, manage and create content, optimize for SEO/SEM and manage analytics for all DocuPet digital-marketing related activities including docupet.com and its subdomains, social media sites and digital marketing campaigns.
  • Lead the strategy, development, execution and optimization of paid digital efforts, including display advertising, social media, mobile, SEM and SEO
  • Analyze and report on customer behaviour insights to improve licence sales and customer interaction
  • Manage e-mail marketing programs, lists, imports, and permissions
  • Conduct landing page and e-mail campaign tests
  • Coordinate marketing events
  • Develop and write digital content
  • Integrate online activities with off-line marketing communications plans
  • Drive development and management of digital co-marketing and co-branded partnerships with partners, shelters and municipalities
  • Ensure digital design is optimized for branding, impact, SEO, web development, etc.
  • Identify opportunities for applying new technologies, digital products and services to online campaigns

 

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive digital marketing experience required
  • Minimum 3 years of marketing communications project management experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Portfolio demonstrating work, analytics and metrics (Please either link to a public facing domain or include in your application, applications with no portfolio will not be considered)
  • Strong digital copywriting, design, content marketing, and verbal communication skills required
  • Exceptional project management skills.
  • Ability to translate customer insights into successful digital marketing programs and a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to customers
  • Fluent in Google Analytics software
  • Experience managing Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
